Course - NST Academy

• About 300 candidates who are the sons of the deceased parents who died while in service in HAL were offered jobs on compassionate grounds in the Department of Security. These candidates were SSLC passed and medically fit. They were given three months of intensive course, both outdoor & indoor, in Security subjects and thereafter, they were employed as Security Guards in HAL.
• About 80 Security Supervisors were given supervisory training of one week duration and the course was conducted in the HAL Training Centre.
• 15 Security Officers who were 1st Class Graduates and cleared by a psychological profiling for integrity and dependability were sent to us for six months Security Training. They were provided very comprehensive training and these Officers are now looking after the Security in HAL.
• 38 Security Guards were given an Orientation Course in Security in LRDE.
• 60 Security Guards of the then NGEF were provided training by us in the year 1992-93. The course was of 15 days duration.
• 45 Re-mustered employees from various departments like civil engineering, sanitation etc. was given job opportunities in ITI Security Department. Since the company had to be closed the employees were offered alternative jobs and they are now deployed for duties in the Security Department.
• About 60 Security Guards and Durban’s of RBI were provided Security Training for duration of 4 days.
• About 15 Security personnel belonging to the Special Security Task Force of BPL were offered one month’s course in Security which included Close Proximity Security.
• 18 Security personnel of the German Consulate were given one week training in Security at their premises.
• About 4,000 Army personnel who have come out Army on pension belonging to the Madras Regimental Centre, Punjab Regimental Centre, Sikh Regimental Centre, Corps of Military Police and PARA Regimental Centre have been provided security training of one month’s duration.
• In the past in 2013-2014 we have trained 432 candidates under the Govt of India scheme “STAR Scheme”. In 2015-2016 we have trained 481 candidates under the Govt of India scheme “PMKVY 1.0 Scheme”. In 2017-2018 we have trained 77 candidates under the Govt of India scheme “PMKVY 2.0 scheme”. 
• In 2018 we have trained approximately 2000 of our guards in Private Eye (P) Limited under the Govt of India scheme “PMKVY 2.0’ on the project type RPL 4 (Recognition of Prior Learning with Best in Class Employers) – RPL with Reputed employers/industries and Employees of Best-In-Class Employers (BICE) from all the sectors.
