Syllabus - NST Academy

  • Our Training syllabus is as per PSARA Rules and aligned to National Occupational Standards(NOS) Qualification Pack equivalent to L4 (Skilled category) under NSDC Job Role Unarmed Security Guard.
  • Our syllabus is tailor made to suit the requirement of the Client. As already explained we run the security programme of duration one day to six months.
    Security subjects are broadly divided into:
    1. Security Management (Core Subjects)
    2. Security Management (Legal Subjects)
    3. Security Management (Allied Subjects)
  • Security Management Core Subjects deals with Physical Security, Material Security, Personnel Security, Perimeter Security, Electronic Devices, etc.
  • Security Management Legal Subjects deals with Right of Private Defence and General Exceptions under the Indian Penal Code, Industrial Dispute, Factories Act, Employees Standing Orders Act, etc.
  • Security Management Allied Subjects deals with Fire Fighting, Vigilance, Intelligence, etc.
  • In addition to the above indoor subjects, outdoor subjects such as PT, Parade, Yoga etc. are also conducted.
  • There is also the Factory visit, visit to Court Hall etc.
  • Medium of Instruction is English, Kannada & Hindi and films on Security are also screened.
  • Fire fighting demonstration followed by visit to the nearest Fire Station is also arranged.
  • We have the expertise, experienced and the proven capability of conducting professional training Programmes in Security both for service personnel and new recruits.

In the Unarmed Security Guard job role, we provide training as per Section 5 of the PSARA Rules.
